Gunnar created a script to compress the raspbian debian image found here:

When I tried running it on our image it was throwing errors. We should look into getting this script to work and see if this can further reduce our image size.

We could also look into reducing our image size by changining the allocated size of the image. Or other appraoches. I'm still currently using 2GB as the image size, and didn't yet find the exact minimal image that can hold peachcloud.
