Delete Branch "%!s(<nil>)"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
On my mind since the https://yunohost.org days. You spend hours packaging an app and then the next day, the app maintainers just up and fucks off because hey, none of their work is paid work. That is another level of unsustainability.
Can we imagine a way to get money from the people using Co-op Cloud directly the hands of the app communities? This would be quite a radical step forward imho.
Total galaxy brain is
abra support go-ssb-room 25/m
! It should be easy. If app communities can standardise on open collective or other tools that we can hook into with payment APIs then maybe that will be workable...Or perhaps we could do a subscription model and some % goes into supporting the apps?
I would love to make any progress on this during the Beta work.
yeah I love the subscription model. 2 tiers:
1. here's the code, run your own co-op cloud!
or
2. these folks host it for you! You pay monthly and it goes to:
% for infra costs
% for continued co-op cloud development
% for app developers
yes pls payments via API 🚀
Aiming to loop back to this once the federation is up & running.
