hledger is used at Bunk Computer Coop (where I work) to do plain text accounting. It is the foss accounting tool that I am most familiar with and will enable me to get historical transactions into a ledger with the most efficient usage of radmin time.
We will be able to export the ledger into a format that can be ingested by whichever tool the Federation chooses after conversation.
