What a person cannot do today

Keep a replica of an external wiki site on their own deployment so it stays available if the original goes away.

What they should be able to do

Name an origin site and have the console create and keep updated a mirror of it under a domain they hold.

Why it matters

Federated wikis reference each other freely, and a site that disappears takes its pages out of every neighborhood that cited it. Hosting a replica is how a community keeps what it relies on.

Where

The wiki integration (farm configuration for a mirror) and a workflow that syncs origin to mirror.

Done when

A member can create a mirror of an origin site, the mirror updates on a schedule, and its status shows on the site page.
