I'm not sure this is the best fix, but I cannot get the minio docker image anymore from quay.io - when I go there, it says that I need a paid subscription to download it.

I tried two different images - cgr.dev/chainguard/minio which only has a "latest", and bitnamilegacy, which is stuck at 2025.7.23. But it seems the latest is running correctly!

thanks @ineiti ! I see they also pulled the image from quay (https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/node/7289585)

your solution looks good, and I've tested it locally that its working

at some point, hope lasuite recommends an alternative besides minio, but until they do that, this seems good for now, merging

Oh, it's lasuite which insists on minio? Then I won't open an issue to change minio, if even upstream didn't do it :)

@ineiti they don't insist on minio, but afaik they haven't yet recommended an alternative. I think it might be wasted effort to focus on an alternative for it to only change again later.

also would you like to be added as an official maintainer of this recipe and the other lasuite recipes? you have done significant work on them, and I am happy that you could merge directly to main with changes as inspired

Heads-up: I work with LLMs (see my #LLM_enabled tag), and I know some people really don't like them. But it allows me to participate in great projects like this, whereas I wouldn't have the time to do so otherwise!

Perhaps it's also worth to create a MAINTAINER.md - currently I'm co-maintainer of nextcloud, where we have quite a long MAINTAINER.md. Which is probably not necessary for this one. But things like "you could merge directly to main" are definitely things which would be worth writing in there!
