UI design & engineering of a user-friendly dashboard. The first step will be to create a user-friendly web interface inspired by the functionality of the netlify.com dashboard, but simplified and absent of many features aimed at large enterprise teams.
Deployment Recipe development. Underneath Netlify's smooth user experience is numerous microservices running different cloning, deployment, build and notification operations. We will address which services are necessary and then create Abra deployment Recipes for those services.
Additional devops engineering to glue any micro-services together which were not possible with deployment recipes. Should some parts of the stack not work smoothly, some light engineering might be required. As well as running Abra recipes via an HTTP REST API.
Since this tool is aimed at average entirely non-technical users, doing multiple rounds of user-testing to get the UX right is essential.
