i was looking into trying snikket but then i realized i can't behind a proxy server. i merged the prosody.cfg.lua from the same container version.
idea: make traefik cert dump optional (probably enabled by default) and let operators inject certificates as secrets. that way i could provide my own certs, though i'd have to renew the secrets for every renewal
Don't have a deep understanding of all the config option changes but go for it if you think it will work 😌 Thanks for diving back into this one! We had it working with a Co-op Cloud XMPP server for a while 🌈
I would say having to deal with secrets on a regular basis would result in a frequent facepalm / crying in anguish / hair pulling experience. You'd have to bump the versions every time 😬
I'd say open a separate issue for this. I don't know what is possible but maybe we could just drop "out of" swarm altogether and use the host system to automate copying stuff in? Unsure but it's messy. Nagging upstream again that this is important is also a good idea!
Yeah but they didn't seem responsive at all on the issues I saw you participating in...
LGTM!
