I propose to implement the Maintainers Proposal for the treaefik recipe.

I would like for the traefik recipe to be in the stable category:

"Stable" recipes must meet the following critera:
Must have at least one named maintainer (handle is fine) with a matrix or email address and that infomation must be kept up to date in the README
The upstream project must be considered active and able to respond to security issues
Security issues in the recipe must be patched within one month of discovery
Merge requests must be responded to with some form of aknowlegement or feedback within one month
Has been upgraded in the last three months (if appropriate)
The status score and README of the project should be kept up to date with relevant infomation

Concrete Steps:

  • Formalize Maintainers from the maintainer spreadsheet as collaborators on this repository, this would be Klasse & Methode, LIT and @decentral1se
  • Remove the co-operators team from this reposiitory, so that only maintainers are allowed to push / merge
  • Setup renovate for this repo

Sounds good to me! Thanks for the iniative @p4u1. I would also say that we only merge things with approval of the PR from the at least one other. It will be slower but more stable. Eventually, once people get used to it, we will speed up again.

Also should we write how one can become a traefik recipe maintainer?

And should we also require approving PR from another maintainer? We could add a deadline of one day for that case

Sounds good to me! Maybe the "join in" can point to a section in the docs explaining the maintainers proposal. We seem to have all the ingredients of stability in this issue, now who will do it? 🙃
