This style update includes the following:

a new sidebar for categories
an updated style for the search bar
new card shapes and font color
background color change

Recommended method to play with the new style would be to fetch this branch and build it locally.

I am unsure of how we would want to do the category sidebar for small screens. Right now, I have it so that it "pops" into the top when the screen gets to mobile size. The cards have the same behavior as they did previously for mobile-sized screens.

Making headway on basic app list styles. 47b3b626ec

This contains changes for the basic app list cards, as well as the nav
bar and the search bar. Attempting to strip down as much of the
Bootstrap app as possible, so that we can eventually remove it.
